Did you always know you were going to study this and work in this field or have you reinvented yourself? I have reinvented myself 100%. Obviously I studied programming because I love the world of technology. In fact, since I was quite young I started to be interested in the world of programming and I started developing a few little things, but I never thought it would lead me to this. What was clear to me was that I wanted to work on something that I was really passionate about and that would have an impact.
Why did you decide to start a company? Because there was a problem that no one was solving, and why wait for someone else to do it when I knew the market, the problem, and the solution perfectly well.
How did the idea come up? Well, the truth is that I decided to found Signaturit because an ILP (Popular Legislative Initiative) was launched that I could not sign because it was made in Madrid and I was in Barcelona, which generated a lot of frustration. In addition, I worked in the financial sector as a project manager, and I saw day after day how many projects and decisions were very slow because they could not be signed remotely, and let's say that the fact of not being able to sign that ILP was the straw that broke the camel's back. I decided to found Signaturit, with the aim that everyone, individuals and companies could sign any document, from any place and device with the maximum legal guarantees.
How would you describe your product in one sentence? Signing and certifying digital documents and communications in an agile, secure and legal way.

What is the pain point that Signaturit solves? We offer a solution for all companies that need to sign a large volume of documents. Positive results can be seen from the first day they integrate our solution into their daily work. This necessary procedure is solved in a comfortable and fast way, reducing costs and time.
Have you noticed an evolution in online trust? Undoubtedly, Signaturit is a solution that was born in the middle of the boom of new technologies. At the beginning, companies were very suspicious about the security and legality of what we offered, but in the end it has been a "life cycle" so to speak. Today almost everyone does everything online from shopping, to buying airline tickets, to opening a bank account. It was only a matter of time before a process as mundane as signing a document was also transformed to the online environment.
What are the immediate advantages for a company that implements Signaturit in its processes? Time savings, process security and above all, being able to have all document information centralized and digitized.
What are the biggest difficulties you have encountered so far? Although the advantages of using electronic signatures are very obvious, there are still many companies that do not know the differences between the different types of signatures. different types of electronic signatures electronic signatures because they are not familiar with the European legislation that regulates this electronic service. Our biggest challenge is to transmit the legal validity of our solutions, although I recognize that the mentality has changed. A few years ago it was much more complicated, today the digital transformation is more in the day to day of the companies.
Do you use other types of digital solutions in your day-to-day business? Of course we do. In our case, the saying "in the blacksmith's house, a wooden spoon" does not hold true. All departments work with a multitude of digital solutions: CRMs, files in the cloud, HR platforms, remote meeting tools, etc.
Which industry needs your services the most? In all companies and sectors a large number of documents are signed and managed and this experience can be improved for both employees and users. We can mention the HR, banking, insurance or commercial sector for example, but as I said, any company that needs to sign or certify a document benefits from our services.
Do you plan to expand in other sectors or are you being contacted from other sectors to ask for your services? Signaturit has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation program, thanks to which we are developing innovative projects based, for example, on technology such as Blockchain and Machine Learning.
With these products we want to be a reference in the provision of trust services in Europe with a double objective: to contribute to the digital transformation that European companies need to remain competitive and to be a key player in the elimination of cross-border electronic barriers in the EU.
How do you see yourselves in 5 years / What are the next steps for Signaturit? Fulfilling our goal of being leaders in the European market.
Who was your first customer and do you still work with them?? The first user was a photographer from Mallorca. Our first client was the Prisa Group, which 6 years later continues to trust us.
