Did you always know that you wanted to study that or did you reinvent yourself? I reinvented myself 100%. Of course, I studied programming because I love the technological environment. As a matter of fact, my interest in programming started when I was pretty young and I soon started developing some stuff but at that time I had no idea that it would take me where I am now. What I truly knew was that I wanted to work in something fascinating and that meant something.
Why did you decide to create a company? There was a problem and nobody was offering a solution to it. Why waiting until somebody else offers a solution when I had deep knowledge in the market, the problem and the solution.
How the idea arose? To be honest, I created Signaturit because there was a popular legislative initiative in Madrid that I couldn't sign because I was in Barcelona, that was really frustrating. I was working in finance at that time and day after day projects and decisions were taking ages to close because they couldn't be signed remotely. Let's say that not being able to sign that Initiative was the last straw. I created Signaturit to make possible signing any kind of document from any location and in any device with maximum legal warranties.
How would you describe your product in just one sentence? To sign and to certify digital documents and communications in an easy, secure and legal way.

Which pain point is Signaturit solving? We offer a solution to all the companies that need to sign big volumes of documents. You can see the positive results since the very first day the solution is implemented. A daily procedure solved in an easy and comfortable way reducing costs and timings.
Have you noticed an evolution in online trust? Without a doubt, Signaturit was born during the new technologies boom. In the beginning, companies had many doubts regarding security and about the legitimacy of what we were offering, but in the end we could say that it's been a "life cycle". Nowadays all of us do everything online, shopping groceries, plane tickets and even opening a bank account. It was just a matter of time that a so frequent process such as signing a document would also go online.
Which are the immediate advantages that get a company who implements Signaturit? Saving time, gaining security in the process and, above all, centralize and digitalize all its documents.
What was the biggest challenge by now? Even if the advantages of using an electronic signature are obvious, there are still many companies that don't know the differences in between the different kinds of signatures as they are not familiar with European regulations. Our biggest challenge is to transmit the legal validity of our solutions, but I have to admit that mindset is changing. Some years ago it was much harder, nowadays digital transformation is in the day-to-day in most of the companies.
Do you use any other kind of digital solutions in your company? Sure. In our case, you couldn't' say that "The tailor's wife is the worst clad". All our departments work with digital solutions such as CRM, cloud, human resources platforms, remote meetings solutions...
Which is the industry who can benefit more of your services? All industries need to sign and take care of a great number of documents, we can improve this experience both for the teams and for the users. We could mention industries such as Human Resources, Banking, Insurance or Commercial to start with. But as I said, any kind of company who might need to sign or to certify a document can benefit from our services.
Have you thought about expanding your services to other industries? Signaturit received funding from the European Research and Innovation program Horizon 2020. Thanks to that we are developing new projects based in Blockchain technology and Machine Learning.
With these new products, we want to be a reference in providing trusted services in Europe with a double objective: contributing to the digital transformation that European companies need to be competitive and to be the key to brake digital barriers in Europe.
How do you see Signaturit in 5 years time? Accomplishing our target of leading the European market.
Who was your first customer? Is he still there? Our first user was a photographer from Mallorca. The first big company we had as a customer was Grupo Prisa that, after 6 years, still trust us.
